well. rome was okei. i guess. but still, barcelona was way better. :))
DAY ONE.14May2007. getting there.

woke up at 730am. and i was shocked that *insert name here* was here. again.! ugh. i H A T E it. *insert name here* sleeps here. eats here. even takes a bath here. i mean he practically lives here.! it`s uber annoying. but. wtf can i do? :)) eniwei. going to the airport. i was silent. i was mad. coz *insert name here* was coming along. amf.. hmm. well. i had fun in the airport. their departure area was awesome. and fitzie and coleen texted me. i wasnt alone. haha. d r a m a. :)) when we boarded the plane, i felt like wanting to gag. the plane smelled real bad. for me at least. haha. and finally, i got to get off the plane.!^^ haha.
then we rode a shuttle thingy going to the hotel. it was awesome for a two star. :)) although the tv may have been flat screen, it was still hell. everything was italian. even the american movies were dubbed in italian. and i mean everything. i had to watch xmen in italian. all i could understand were ciao, prego, and grazie. haha. :)) and the elevator could only carry 3 people. and it was so small. haha. still, it was great. :)) then after a few minutes of resting, we were out and about. we went to a small pizzeria to eat. i couldnt finish just one slice of pizza. though it was super tasty. :)) then we went to the coliseum. but just for a short while since it was about to close in fifteen. we just had our picture taken with a gladiator guy. with crooked teeth. haha. :)) peace!<3
DAY TWO. 15May2007. excited and ready.
well. i woke up at like 840am. then got ready for the day. then my mom and i went to the breakfast bar in the hotel. all i ate was bread with ham and cheese. :)) i would never last a month in italy. all pasta. all day. ugh. then we went to buy tickets for the tour bus. then waited for it in the burning heat of the sun. we got off at the third stop - the coliseum or "colosseo". to go in on our own. but then, my mom decided we join a tour. so we could at least know the history behind it. we waited and waited for the tour guide. when he finally came, he told stories about the coliseum. and that the shoe "nike" isn't supposed to be pronounce naikee. but just neeke. turns out "nike" was the goddess of victory. that explains the ads of the products. haha. XD eniwei. another fun fact: the ancient romans used IIII as the roman numeral for four. haha. want proof? click here. haha. ~XD then, we went to the roman forum or as they say "floro romano". it was so high. imagine the taoist temple, times three. :)) haha. it was pretty old. ruins. then we decided to go back to the bus stop. but before we reached it, we got lost. haha. *tear*. eniwei. we did find it. eventually. ;p then, we hopped off at saint peter's sqaure "piazza san pietro". then took some pictures. in just like 10minutes. haha. then went back to the bus. then hopped off again at the trevi fountain - fontana di trevi. where lots of movies shot at. and it looked better in the movies. coz it wasn't that crowded. :( amf. then we went and ate at the nearest burger king. then saw a sign that said piazza di spagna --> so we followed it. but eventually, got lost again. DX haha. ;) so, we just went back to the bus stop. and it took 30minutes for the tour bus to come. and - just our luck - the bus driver didn't see us, and drove off. just like that.! :( so we just waited for a regular bus going to the train station and went back to the hotel. then we went to an internet shop. and they needed us to give them our passports just to use the internet. and i d k why. so i surfed and surfed. then went back to the hotel. and i was tired. of waiting. of walking. and of being under the sun. so i slept. :))
DAY THREE. 16May2007. exhausted and tired.
woke up at like 9am. then prepared our stuff. then went to breakfast then, went back to the hotel room. and i like felt asleep again, since my mom was cleaning something. i d k.ü so, we left the room at lik 12nn. and went to the station to go to the piazza di spagna or spain's square. where the spanish steps are. spanish steps in italy. weird. :)) then took some pictures of our own. then a guy asked us if he could take our picture for 3euros. and my mom was like okei. :)) then we went back to the train station and moved on to the piazza del popolo. i d k why. we just stopped there. then we went on to find the vatican museum. :)) and as usual, we got lost going there. haha. ;) then, we finally found it. and there was a long long line. as long as two blocks.! wheew. and under the sun? :( but it was okei. the inside was great. but most of the statues made me wanna gag. most of them were naked people carrying heads. ugh. i didn't really enjoy it there. and the painting also made me want to gag. massacres, killings, and blood dripping everywhere!. hai. the olden times were. ugh. :( then when we finally got out, we went to find saint peters again. to look for souvenirs. and we did. and then we walked into a bank, thinking it was a post office. ay. sayup. haha. :)) then onto piazza navona. or the navona square. and got lost going there. again. :)) and there, we saw lady liberty. and guess what. she's a lesbian. haha. jokening. :D haha. and so, that's it. ~8) we went back to the hotel. then my mom wanted to got to the internet shop to watch her maging sino ka man. :)) but, i was too tired to walk. so she went on on her own. but then the key gave power to the room. but when she left the room, the lights were still on. :)) so i watched mtv. it was the only channel in english. then suddenly, *poof*. the lights went out. turns out, when the key left the building, the lights turn off. also the tv. but the aircon was still on, and the outlets were working too. :)) haha. ~XD
DAY FOUR. 17May2007. going home.
finally. i get to go home. i miss rice!. and i now hate pasta. :( haha. so we woke up at 9am, went to breakfast at 10, checked out at 1030. then wandered the italian streets. haha. we just went to the train station and did a little window shopping, then went on to the airport by 1230nn. then went to find the check in desk. we walked around the airport for so long. haha. then we found it. :) then went to find food. though i wasnt crazy about eating another pasta meal. so i didnt eat. i could wait for home. :)) then we went to the gates. and it took us like 5minutes to go to the gate. so far away from the food court. :( and then i ended up here infront of the monitor. again. :)) üü
